I think I scared Rose for a minute at the register the other day when I raised my fist to the sky and lamented that the wheat-free tortillas we sell are "NOT ORGANIC!!!!". After she recovered from her shock, and took a few steps back, thinking to herself, I surmise, "Heather has gone CRAY-ZAY! The Vanishing Bees 2009
Directed by: George Langworthy
Rating: 4 Buckets O'popcorn
Everyone should see this film! It certainly will drive home the importance of how critical this bee problem really is.
I had heard a little something about a bee problem a while ago, but I really had no idea how severe it really is, and how bad it could potentially really get. No bees equals no food, no food...

Forks over Knives 2011
Directed by: Lee Fulkerson
Rating: 3 Buckets O’Popcorn
If you are not a believer that a diet of fruits and vegetables will give you a long healthy life, this movie should do it!
There was a huge study conducted in China over ten years on real people revealing cancer rates in direct correlation to their diet. There is no doubt the typical western fast food diet is making us all sick with a long list of chronic and degenerative diseases....

Dirt the movie 2009
Director: Bill Beneson
Rating: 4 Buckets O’Popcorn
I selected this documentary in honor of Earth Day for this April issue of our newsletter.
We probably don’t give much thought to plain ole dirt, just layin’ around all over the place. But perhaps we should, this eye opening documentary all about yes….dirt, was very enlightening. It turns out we would probably die without it! Shocking I know! What??? Yep dirt is alive and gives...

Reasons I loved this movie:
This movie is set in 1930s Paris, LOVE IT!

The Human Footprint 2007
Directed by: Nick Watts
Rating: 3 buckets O’Popcorn
This thought provoking documentary looks at the environmental footprint we each leave on the earth from birth to 75 years of age. This documentary covers everything the average person will use, eat, buy, and especially throw out. Starting with how many diapers one baby goes through to how many homes we will buy.
It is really astounding to have this enormous display of blatant...

It feels really good to make your baby's food with your own two hands. Like a little work of art, you present it to your charming, intelligent and beautiful little one (or ones) and wait for the expression of delight as they devour every last bit. Sometimes in the real world, it looks a little more like this: You place the bowl of pureed delight in front of baby, only to find that when you turned your back, the work of art is now where art belongs- on the wall.
The solution? First, probably...
